Remote sensing as an aid to the location and control of weeds

Minutes of the 31st Annual Meeting of the Canada Weed Committee Western Section: 24

A method is described in which aerial photographs are used in the location of weed infestations on agricultural land, forest and rangeland. Photographs were taken using different film types at altitudes of from 4000 ft to 7 miles. The results were compared with associated ground photographs in order to aid their interpretation.
