Response of Jaya variety of paddy to nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and zinc on farmers' fields in Mysore district

Rice Jaya was grown in farmers' fields in Mysore in 1972-3 and was given 0, 50, 100, 150 or 200 kg N/ha (with 0 or 25 kg ZnSO4/ha at the 150 kg N/ha level) + basal K2O and P2O5, or was given 0, 30, 60 or 90 kg P2O5/ha + basal N and K2O. Grain yield increased with increasing NPK and Zn application.
