Over a three-year period, four cultivars from maturity groups V to VIII were evaluated in 0.45 and 0.90 m row spacings at half-monthly planting dates from April to July. The short cultivar Essex yielded less than the other cultivars, except when planted in early May, whereas yields of Davis, Bragg and Hutton were equal when averaged across treatments over the three-year period.
