Studies on bovine leukosis. VI. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay for the detection of antibodies to bovine leukosis virus

Studies on bovine leukosis. VI. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay for the detection of antibodies to bovine leukosis virus

Annales de Recherches Veterinaires. Annals of Veterinary Research 9(4): 663-666

The agar gel immunodiffusion test using the gp fraction of bovine leukosis virus as antigen was compared with an indirect micro-ELISA in a series of 2784 samples of bovine serum, 433 of which came from clinically normal, leukosis-free cattle. The discrepancy between the two tests was only 0.5%. Forty serum samples tested by radioimmunoassay gave an identical result when tested by the two other methods.
