In assays of seed from 4 localities, more spp. were obtained from seed stored between 8-33 deg C (max. 25 deg ) than at other temps. Leaf extracts from Calotropis procera and Datura metel inhibited certain seed fungi, including the dominant Aspergillus flavus, in culture.
