Studies on cyclamen cultivation. II. Effect of temperature on cyclamen growth

Studies on cyclamen cultivation. II. Effect of temperature on cyclamen growth

Journal of the Faculty of Agriculture Shinshu University 16(1): 1-12

Cyclamen Vuurbaak was grown at 5 deg , 10 deg , 15 deg or 20 deg C night temperature and 20 deg day temperature for 110 days. Seedling development was delayed by low temperature (5 deg ). In the Salmon Pink, grown at 25 deg /30 deg or 20 deg /20 deg night/day temperatures, the higher night/day temperatures inhibited top growth and flower bud development.
