Absorption of mineral fertilizer N and symbiotic N fixation were studied in D. intortum Greenleaf at 20, 25 and 30% using 15N. Plants were harvested 8 times at 5-day intervals starting 8 days after germination. DM yield increased as temp. increased, with a greater difference between yields at 20 and 25 deg than between those at 25 and 30 deg. Number of nodules/pot and nodule wt./100 cm2 of leaf area increased with temp. The percentage of white nodules was greater at lower temp.
