Studies on ratooning ability of sorghum entries

Sorghum Newsletter 21: 46-47

Tabulated data are presented on the grain and fodder yields from one to three tillers per shoot of the ratoon crop of three hybrids and four varieties. The highest mean grain yields were given by the hybrids; of these, CSH1, with 44.13 q/ha, produced most, producing 37, 46, 49 and 55% more than the varieties 168, Swarna, 370 and CS3541, respectively.
