Studies on some post harvest biochemical changes in banana under sealed polythene bagging storage



Indian Agriculture 22(1): 29-33



Mature banana fruits, Kalibabu, were placed in polyethylene bags, or not, and held at room temperature for up to 7 days. With fruits in polyethylene bags shelf life was extended from 4 to 7 days, reflecting the less rapid changes in skin chlorophyll and carotenoid contents.
