Studies on swine mortality

Cheiron 8(1): 12-18

Mortality at a livestock research station for 1971/72 to 1974/75 averaged 6.50% for young stock and 5.56% for adults. Preweaning mortality averaged 7.83%. Month had a significant effect on mortality, which was highest in July for young stock (6.51%) and in June for adults (3.56%).
