Studies on the hatchability of hen's egg

Indian Veterinary Journal 55(6): 475-476

For 400 White Cornish, 400 White Plymouth Rock and 400 New Hampshire eggs collected during a 30-day period, egg weight averaged 52.38, 53.33 and 53.49 g resp. (P<0.01), the egg width:length index 75.69, 75.40 and 75.18, and hatchability 74.50, 78.25 and 77.50%.
