NRDC-143 (permethrin) applied by aircraft at 35 and 140 g/ha a.i. to control spruce budworm (Choristoneura fumiferana) affected zooplankton and bottom fauna populations in small lakes in eastern Canada and led to changes in the type and quantity of food ingested by native fish.
