Studies on the mechanism of gibberellin-induced seedlessness in Muscat Bailey A grapes

Studies on the mechanism of gibberellin-induced seedlessness in Muscat Bailey A grapes

Bulletin of the Faculty of Agriculture, Shizuoka University (29): 5-9

Studies on ovule, ovary and pollen tube growth showed that the formation of seedless berries following pre-bloom treatment with GA was caused by the inhibition of embryo-sac development, of pollen germination and of pollen penetration into the ovaries.
