N, P, K and B fertilizers were applied to passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) plants growing in the field in a Red Yellow Latosol of low to medium fertility. There were three rates each of N, P and K: 0, 150 or 300 g/plant in the first year, 0, 100 or 200 g/plant in the second. B was added at 15 g/plant in the first year and 10 g/plant in the second. There was a response, in terms of fresh fruit weight, to N, P and K in the first year, and to N and P in the second. There was no response to B.
