Trials with 3 dwarf wheat given 0-200 kg N/ha in Himachal Pradesh showed that the opt. economic rates of N for Kalyan Sona, Sonalika and Hira were 128, 139 and 144 kg/ha, resp. Yields were highest in Kalyan Sona and grain l wt. and CP contents in Hira.
