Studies on the possibility of oak mushroom (shiitake) cultivation on ban oak (Quercus incana) of India

The survival and growth of shiitake on Q. incana logs and sawdust were compared with those on Q. serrata (the species normally used in Korea). The chemical composition of the wood of the two species was also compared.
