Oral treatment of 4 groups of 3 sheep with 5 mg/kg body weight fenbendazole, 36 hours, 3, 6 and 9 days after infection with 6000 Haemonchus contortus larvae, reduced the numbers of parasites by 99.7, 98.6, 93.5 and 94.8% respectively, when compared with an untreated control group.
