The experimental sawing of small logs with a twin circular saw - the relationship between the sawing ability and the spring constant of the circular saw

The experimental sawing of small logs with a twin circular saw - the relationship between the sawing ability and the spring constant of the circular saw

Journal of the Hokkaido Forest Products Research Institute (319): 9-11

Sawing ability, I, in cm/min is defined as the product of sawing depth, h, in cm and feed speed, v, in cm/min. The relationship of I and the spring constant, k, in kg/cm, of a circular saw was investigated.
