Atrazine, linuron, 2,4-D, trifluralin, fluometuron, molinate and propanil were applied post-em. at various rates to wheat, cotton, maize and rice seedlings in pots. Wheat seedlings were susceptible to all the herbicides except atrazine at the lowest rate (0.5 kg/faddan = 4200 m2) and 2,4-D at 0.5, 1 and 2 litres/faddan. Cotton seedlings were injured by propanil, molinate, 2,4-D and atrazine at all the concns. tested.
