Camallanus priacanthi n.sp. found in the stomach of Priacanthus boops in the Pacific Ocean (Philippine Sea) is described and figured. It is differentiated from other species of the genus in the powerful lateral thickenings at the base of the inner surface of the buccal valves, in the large cuticular ring, in the valve at the anterior end of the oesophagus and in the powerful tridents.
