The occurrence of heterosis after hybridization of winter wheat forms obtained from spring varieties

The occurrence of heterosis after hybridization of winter wheat forms obtained from spring varieties

Nauch tr Leningr s kh in ta 346: 6-9

Winter forms obtained from the spring varieties Diamant and Manitoba showed winter hardiness and high yield in Leningrad province. F1 hybrids of these winter forms showed heterosis for hardiness, resistance to Erysiphe graminis and some yield components.
