The test manufacturing of wood-based gypsum boards. 2. Effects of the gypsum/wood ratio and the board density on the water absorption properties and the incombustibility of boards

The test manufacturing of wood-based gypsum boards. 2. Effects of the gypsum/wood ratio and the board density on the water absorption properties and the incombustibility of boards

Journal of the Hokkaido Forest Products Research Institute 310: 1-7 + sum.

Thickness swelling decreased with board density at each gypsum/wood ratio. Water absorption was affected by board density only with a gypsum/wood ratio of 2.0 or more. Combustibility was closely related to the gypsum/wood ratio, but was scarcely affected by board density.
