1. The yeast product Fermosin, 6 samples, was compared with yeasts grown on carbohydrate or gas oil and with fish meal and soya bean oilmeal. It contained/kg DM about 660 g crude protein, 52 g lysine and 16 g methionine plus cystine, also 48 to 78 g ash, 13 to 42 g lipid (after HDl treatment) and 230 to 280 g N-free extract.
