Use of mineral oil distillate fodder yeast Fermosin in feeds for animals. 2. Digestibility of the nutrients of Fermosin fodder yeast in broiler chickens and fattening pigs

Use of mineral oil distillate fodder yeast Fermosin in feeds for animals. 2. Digestibility of the nutrients of Fermosin fodder yeast in broiler chickens and fattening pigs

Archiv fur Tierernahrung 29(2): 81-91

2. Digestibility of nutrients was tested in barrows of 40 to 70 kg given wheat or 93 or 65% wheat combined with 7 and 35% Fermosin. True digestibility of N and amino acids was assessed by supplying a semisynthetic diet containing 22% Fermosin with or without extra methionine. To estimate true digestibility of amino acids in fattening chickens pelleted feed containing 35, 20 or 10% Fermosin was supplied.
