Use of mineral oil distillate fodder yeast Fermosin in feeds for animals. 3. Effect of mineral oil distillate yeasts with different hydrocarbon contents in rations for fattening pigs on fattening and carcass value

Use of mineral oil distillate fodder yeast Fermosin in feeds for animals. 3. Effect of mineral oil distillate yeasts with different hydrocarbon contents in rations for fattening pigs on fattening and carcass value

3. In 3 trials in 3 different years and from initially 26-35 kg bodyweight, barrows were given different proportions of the yeasts, from 5 to 15%, with different amounts of unutilized hydrocarbons, from 0.05 to 0.32%, adjusted by varying conditions of extraction of dried yeast biomass with organic solvents. The yeasts replaced conventional protein-rich concentrate.
