In diets for broiler chickens in 4 groups of 240, soya bean oilmeal 10, 20 or 29% in starting feed and 8, 15 or 23% in finishing feed, was replaced by the fungal single-cell protein Pekilo. Liveweight at 8 weeks old was 1495 g with no Pekilo and 1527, 1538 and 1452 g with increasing amounts of Pekilo. Feed intake/kg gain was 2.71, 2.61, 2.58 and 2.65 kg, respectively.
