'Hybrid Titan'

Journal of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science 46(4): 266-267

This wheat variety, developed by the DeKalb Shand Seed Company, Tamworth, New South Wales, is an F1 hybrid for which the female parent is a male-sterile complex cross involving Triticum timopheevii, Gabo, Gamut and Sonora 64A and the male parent (subsequently named Terra) a complex cross including a Japanese restorer line and a Kite sib. Hybrid Titan is a spring wheat which flowers slightly later than Songlen but earlier than Kite and matures rapidly.
