Journal of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science 45(2): 142-143

The spring wheat Miling (69WO2-37), a sister line to Jacup, was bred at the South Perth Department of Agriculture and is recommended for the West Midlands area of Western Australia. On average, Miling is 8 cm shorter than Gamenya and flowers six days later. It is resistant to Urocystis tritici. The hard, white-amber grain is softer than in Madden and has a lower flour water absorption.
