1985 sugar demand, then and now

1985 sugar demand, then and now

International Sugar Report, FOLicht' s 114(10): 161-165

The author argues that it would be wrong to infer stagnation or near stagnation from the statistics. Consumption will come much closer to a previous estimate of around 96 mill t than to a projection based on the last 3 years.
