24-Hour blood glucose monitoring in diabetes mellitus

Pediatric Research 15(1): 90

In 20 diabetic children, 3 to 14 years old, 24-h plasma and urine glucose was estimated. Two-hourly blood Dextrostix values were read on a 'Hypocount' meter (duplicates checked in laboratory). Concurrently, glucose excretion was estimated in two 12-h urine collections.
