32P tracer studies on the efficiency of ammonium nitrate phosphates and polyphosphates for growing rice on different soil types

32P tracer studies on the efficiency of ammonium nitrate phosphates and polyphosphates for growing rice on different soil types

Journal of Nuclear Agriculture and Biology 9(4): 135-138

In pot trials, efficiency of different P fertilizers for rice grown in red, laterite and black soils was determined using 32P. DM production, paddy yields, and P uptake were higher with than without applied P; they were higher with 50 p.p.m. than with 25 p.p.m. P. Ammonium nitrate phosphate containing more than or equal to 50% P in water soluble form can be applied to rice on all soil types.
