It is estimated that Canadian dairy farms produced 7272 million l milk in 1980, vs. 6891 million l in 1979. Estimated outputs of fluid milk (2611 million l), butter (110 000 t), Cheddar cheese (100 018 t), other whole-milk cheese (73 791 t), Cottage cheese (27 600 t), dried skim milk (115 000 t), evaporated whole milk (184 million l), condensed whole milk (11 million l) and cereal cream (64 million l) were higher in 1980 than in 1979, while output of yoghurt (153 million l) remained unchanged.
