A case study of organophosphate pesticide residue in lettuce and carrots

Lettuce and carrot samples were taken from plots sprayed with a mixture of Basudin (0.25%) and Antracol (0.25%) In lettuce, diazinon residues fell from 6.7 mg/kg immediately after spraying to 0.8 mg/kg 7 days later.
