As a result of 3 seasons' trials, phenmedipham + ethofumesate at 0.47 kg/ha + 0.6 kg/ha band applied once at the 2-leaf stage and again 5-10 days later combined with 2 inter-row cultivations is recommended for weed control in sugar-beet.
