A study of the porosity of an Andalusian black earth using optical-electronic systems of image analysis

A study of the porosity of an Andalusian black earth using optical-electronic systems of image analysis

Anales de Edafologia y Agrobiologia 37(3/4): 221-229

The size, shape and distribution of micromorphological voids in an Andalusian black earth were studied with a Zeiss Micro Videomat. The porosity, in the size range 30-600 mu m, was greatest in the Ap horizon (21%), falling to 13-15% in the (B)/C1, and to 6% in the parent rock.
