Laboratory studies in Japan showed that, following inoculation with a cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus, detectable accumulation of the viral genome RNA, as well as polyhedra, in larvae of Bombyx mori (L.) reared at a supraoptimal temperature (35 deg C) did not occur.
