Biochemical characters of blood and some productive characters in pigs. 3. Concentration of ribonucleic acid in leucocytes and lymphocytes, and carcass characters

Biochemical characters of blood and some productive characters in pigs. 3. Concentration of ribonucleic acid in leucocytes and lymphocytes, and carcass characters

Zeszyty Naukowe Akademii Rolniczej w Szczecinie (69 (Zootechnika 13)): 61-70

In 23 Polish Large White pigs, slaughtered at 8 mth of age, eye-muscle area was significantly correlated with the concentration of RNA in lymphocytes at 6 mth of age (-0.43), ham weight was significantly correlated with the concentration of RNA in polymorphs at 4 mth and in lymphocytes at 6 mth (-0.45 and -0.49 resp.), loin weight was significantly correlated with the concentration of RNA in lymphocytes and in polymorphs at 6 mth (-0.53 and -0.45), and weight of the primal cuts was significantly correlated with the concentration of RNA in polymorphs at 4 mth and in lymphocytes at 6 mth (-0.50 and -0.48).
