This paper includes data for concn. of residues of HCB, alpha -, beta - and gamma -HCH, heptachlor epoxide, dieldrin, DDT + metabolites and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in numerous samples of milk, dairy products, meat, offal, meat products, animal fats, eggs and fish in France over the period 1976-1978. Pesticide concn. were generally low; however, gamma -HCH was detected in animal fats at concn. up to 17.47 mg/kg, and HCB was detected in fish at concn. up to 13.72 mg/kg.
