Zeszyty Problemowe Postepow Nauk Rolniczych (232): 69-75



Strawberry plants (variety Senga Sengana) from mother stock naturally infected with Aphelenchoides spp. were dipped for 10 min. in nematicide emulsions before planting out in the autumn. All 3 nematicides were effective to some degree. The best, thionazin, killed almost all nematodes (except in one test) at 0.05% concentration and gave a 100% kill at 0.1%. Phenamiphos was fully effective at 0.2%, whereas oxamyl did not give a 100% kill even at 0.2%.
