Control of the carmine spider mite on greenhouse grown foliage plants

Oxamyl provided adequate mite control on Brassaia actinophylla, Codiaeum variegatum, and Epipremnum aureum and appeared to be acceptable for use on these plants. Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) populations were not effectively controlled either by butocarboxime or oxamyl on Dieffenbachia sp. 'Exotica' or by butocarboxime on B. actinophylla.
