Control of xylem cell formation in tissue cultures: soyabean and Atriplex sp

Control of xylem cell formation in tissue cultures: soyabean and Atriplex sp

Metabolizm i mekhanizm deistviya fitogormonov Trudy Vsesoyuznoi konferentsii, Irkutsk 1978: 226-228

Effects of phytohormones and some other factors on formation of xylem cells in suspension cultures of soyabean tissues were studied. NAA increased the conversion of parenchyma cells into xylem cells, especially during the lag period at a conc. of 1 mg/l. Kinetin increased the stimulating effect of NAA.
