Correlation between complement fixation and agglutination tests for brucellosis in heifers vaccinated with strain 19 and in infected cows

Correlation between complement fixation and agglutination tests for brucellosis in heifers vaccinated with strain 19 and in infected cows

Medycyna Weterynaryjna 37(6): 333-336

Statistical analysis of serological results obtained shortly after the last war suggested a negative linear correlation between CF and tube agglutination titres in 598 vaccinated heifers. There was no clear correlation between the CF and agglutination results in 620 brucella infected cows. The highest dispersion of the CF titres occurred at dilutions corresponding to 200 and 400 IU in the tube agglutination test.
