Correlation of in vitro lymphocyte reactivity with in vivo swine melanoma growth and regression

Sinclair swine melanoma exhibits an extremely high rate (85%) of spontaneous regression. Swine with regressing lesions exhibited substantially greater in vitro lymphocyte reactivity than did a swine with an extremely small tumour burden, or one with a very large, progressively growing, melanoma.
