Correlations among some reproductive characters at consecutive farrowings

Correlations among some reproductive characters at consecutive farrowings

Stocarstvo 34(9-10): 343-350

Data were obtained over 6 farrowings on 11 995 Swedish Landrace and German Landrace purebred litters and various types of crossbred of the 2 breeds. Genetic, phenotypic and environmental correlations among the numbers of liveborn piglets at different parities, and similar correlations for the numbers of stillborn piglets, litter sizes at 21 days of age, and litter weights at 21 days, are given in tables.
