The host range of the ginger pathogen included bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), pea, Impatiens balsamina, spinach, carnation, oats and barley. Highly resistant and immune plants included carrot, Arctium lappa, Chrysanthemum coronarium, Brassica campestris and Zinnia elegans.
