Digestibility of crude protein, crude fat and the basic and sulphur-containing amino acids of poultry waste meal in fattening pigs

Digestibility of crude protein, crude fat and the basic and sulphur-containing amino acids of poultry waste meal in fattening pigs

Archiv fur Tierernahrung 31(7/8): 549-556

In studies with 2 groups of 4 pigs each, apparent digestibilities of the basic ration were organic matter 90, crude protein 63, lysine 56, histidine 80, arginine 79, methionine 64 and cystine 77%. Corresponding values for dried poultry waste meal (PWM) were 79, 77, 80, 89, 88, 79 and 80%.
