Primary roots of Douglas fir seedlings growing in pots were inoculated by soil injection with suspensions of (a) L. laccata, (b) and (c) the non-symbiotic organisms Trichoderma sp. and Pseudomonas cepacia, (d) L. laccata with Trichoderma sp. In test (e) benomyl was applied as a soil drench. The root pathogen Fusarium oxysporum was introduced 7-10 days later.
