Effect of NPK application on the yield of bajra and grain under rainfed conditions

Bajra showed significant responses to N up to 90 kg/ha and to P up to 45 kg P2O5/ha in the second year. In the first year, significant responses to N and P were only up to 30 kg N and 15 kg P2O5/ha, respectively. Gram gave low response to N application in the second year and yields rather declined in the first year. There was significant response to 40 kg P2O5/ha when applied alone, but response in the presence of N was significant only up to 20 kg P2O5/ha during both years.
