Oats were dehusked and separated best using a coarse fluidization bed and air pressure 10 bar. There was 22.6% husks and nondehusked grains constituted 10.9% of the total number of grains. Dehusked oats had crude protein 14.5, fibre 3.3, fat 8.6% and husks similarly 6.5, 3.3 and 3%.
