In trials with the sugarcane Co.1148 receiving different rates of N, P2O5 and K2O, applied singly or in combination, the highest cane yield (1216 q/ha) was obtained from plots receiving N at 150 kg/ha + P2O5 at 50 kg/ha. K2O had little effect on cane yield.
